Come what may, some memories fade..........but some stay as vivid as the moment they were made

Dreams of the days where he stood like a mountain
It's been a while since then ,but who's counting
He lies awake, lies in wait,
For the light of the morning to bless him, and shine again
Excerpt from "Cigarettes" - Illy

I simply thought in front of the creator that I wanted to photograph birds in front of the dawning sun, within seconds my wish was granted.  It happened that quick.  Now to apply the same principals to all things in my life.

I feel very very blessed when I see the light come into the sky each morning.  Today the sun is expected to rise around 6:15am and I am always always keen to see this.  The photographic opportunities are so expansive at dawn.  The light is changing so fast at times its hard to keep up with it.

I find myself running to capture stuff photographically.  I get extremely excited by the prospect of the image I am going to take.  Its not a bad thing.  It gives me a level of excitement each day at day break that cannot be matched by human kind.  It is mostly a feeling of communion that I feel.  Like I am standing alone with God.

Standing alone with God is a pretty awesome feeling believe me.  I welcome this so much.  It is a feeling that there is huge understanding and the universe is unfolding as it should.  I need to do this often and commune with the Creator of the universe and I prefer to refer to this as God.

Our ideas on God may differ, but I love God, The Dreaming talks about when the earth was created and the stories of the seed power are phenomenal.  This "seed" power is very evident in this area.  You can almost see the hand of creation over this place.

Next to temperance, a quiet conscience, a cheerful mind, and active habits, I place early rising as a means of health and happiness. - Flint

Looking out over the back garden at dawn!

Morning is the best of all times in the garden.  The sun is not yet hotSweet vapors rise from the earth.  Night dew clings to the soil and makes plants glisten.  Birds call to one another.  Bees are already at work.        William Longgood

http://www.gardendigest.com/morning.htm

Always I love to get up early and work in the garden before the heat comes about.  Working and seeing the sun rise is a gift that not all see or even appreciate.  Some are literally horrified at the thought that they should rise and see the dawning of the day.

I for one would be lost if I did not arise from my sleep each day to gaze upon the day and all of its beauty and the prospect of what the day will bring.  Each day is a great day here on the hill.  Today I heard from my friends Dean and Leanne at the Gold Coast.  She isn't working at the moment and so it is great to hear all of her family and  her grandchildren are all well.

And on this day many lessons were learned and bridges were burned to the ground

Metaphorically speaking because not much is actually burning around here.  At the moment  this Australia Day finds the place totally inundated and experiencing some fairly serious flooding.

It has been raining for over a week now and the area has a maximum capacity and at the moment we are actually teetering on a real disaster occurring if the rain continues.  The water table is at maximum because of continual steady rain now for a good while.  We wait to see how much the rain falls.

Tears from  heaven.... to take care of you.. for the ones who have loved and lost.

MODERATE FLOOD WARNING FOR THE BELLINGER RIVER

Issued at 10:36 am EDT on Thursday 26 January 2012
Flood Warning Number: 22
Up to 550 mm has fallen over the Bellinger catchment in the last 4 days. However the rainfall intensity has increased during the last 3 hours with up to 80 mm falling during this period. This has resulted in renewed rises in the Bellinger River.
There is currently moderate flooding at Thora. Bellingen is expected to reach moderate flood level (6.7 metres) around 12 pm.
Further rainfall is predicted for the next 12-24 hours, which could produce further river rises. The situation is being closely monitored and revised predictions issued if necessary.

He was so benevolent, so merciful a man that, in his mistaken passion, he would have held an umbrella over a duck in a shower of rain. - Douglas William Jerrold

Glad I am on the hill in Urunga at the present moment.  I received information that the SES ( State Emergency Service) are door knocking in my old street in Bellingen.  When the SES come knocking you know its bad.

This present inclement weather is caused by the following, High cloud with embedded thunderstorms covers much of eastern Queensland and northern NSW and is associated with an upper-level trough. Extensive areas of cloud with embedded thunderstorms also cover much of the far north of the continent as well as waters to the north and northwest of Australia. This cloud is associated with an active monsoon trough.

Stand still. The trees ahead and bush beside you are not lost.

 Albert Einstein

And one should remember that all who wander are not in fact lost as one might first jump this conclusion.  Many folk are just born to travel and other of us folks are born to stay rooted .   I give to you a poem from JRR Tolkeins / The Fellowship of the Ring

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.
Urunga has many favorite places a weary traveller can take refuge for a short time while on their wanderings.  This morning I found some of these under the bridge.

URUNGA is hardly ever a flowerless garden if : A cloudless plain blue sky is like a flowerless garden. - Terri Guillemets

A very colorful dawn in Urunga in January.

This morning we embarked before dawn to capture what was shaping up to be a spectacular array of colors.  I was not disappointed at all as all over the sky was turned to a beautiful pink!  It was a sight to behold.  This is what I saw today.   I found it hard at times to photograph it as it was one great moment one after another.  Like a child in a candy store feeling.

Then I turned around and I took this shot of the hill.  I chose to include this image because it is looking back up to the hill on which I live.  It is a cliff most say.  I have reservations about this and feel that I am living on top of a midden.

Definitely blessed with beauty

Open afresh your round of starry folds, Ye ardent marigolds! Dry up the moisture from your golden lips.

John Keats...

They say the scented variety are the potent breed of marigolds that deter pests.  Well my marigolds are so bright they attract everyone.  They also say that marigolds do attract slugs.

I have planted them all through out my garden and I have collected the many seeds they produce so willingly after their blight flowers have spent.

The Marigold is a very hardy little plant to have around because it does keep insects away and it is so easy to grow.  I grow them well.

I was in one bedroom, dreamin of a million. Now I'm in beach houses, cream to the ceiling.

 P Diddy ...

Here at  "On the Hill"  the weather is perfection plus today.  I can feel a swim coming on at some stage and more sun. I must wear the Nj Rashie everywhere today it is just that bright .   I could do some more stringing of shells and make another Canowind Chimes mobile today as well if I get time.
Today we will Pray for the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change and the courage to change what things I can and the absolute wisdom to know the difference between the two of those!  The Courage and the Serenity.  I feel it is important for me as a human being to retain my serenity.

Things are getting so much better when everyone is in. Are you in? mello bello part 1

Tom & Myles 8Image by PhotoDu.de via Flickr

A lovely little documentary except for the various misconceptions.  Some of the place names are incorrect.  The information of the area depicts only white civilization.

Not a mention of the indigenous people in the area.  No mention of the hideous murders that took place here when this place was settled by white man.  No mention of the many people who have gone missing never to be seen or heard of again in the more recent years post commune living.

Urunga on the coast mentioned in this documentary  is the place of the Long White Sands and it is a place of indigenous abundance of food and shelter.  Yes, Tom Myles did come here and the  town of Mylestom was built not MYLESTROM as was said in the documentary.  Other wise Tom Myles would have been TROM MYLES.  More research on the subject required here I think.

Did I hear a mention of The mountain in the back ground known as Nungalli that is of special significance to the dreaming.  It is a warrior laying down sleeping.  Cast into the mountain by the tribe because he screwed up big time.

Looking down Hyde Street from the western end of the main street.

Yes, It is an easy going place now however the LAST aboriginal massacre took place on the north side of the river in the vicinity of where the Life House church is now.  The place has an invisible curse that cannot be seen by the uninitiated and the smoking of the place is a constant necessity to keep the peace with the spiritual caretakers.

Yes, it is a small town and unlike what was portrayed on the video team sports do figure big in Bellingen and many great athletes have come from the town of Bellingen. and as the local Bellingen FC has the biggest junior club in the on the north coast so then I would say it figures very big.

It is a myth spread for years now that Bellingen is some kind of Utopia of mind, body and spirit.  This was a dream thought up through the haze of smoke from someones bamboo billie in the early 1970's when it really was a sleepy dreamy little place with a climate perfect for building a self sufficient lifestyle without too much hassle due to adequate rainfall and timber.  Things have changed a terrible lot since then.  I stand now on the outside of the bubble that surrounds the town of Bellingen.  There are a lot of us who feel and even see this manifestation.   When you come out from underneath it the world becomes a brighter more precious place as you once again touch reality.

The place is in a hole - look up the word valley in the dictionary, one of its meanings is hole.

Nothing More desperate than a desperate politician - GERALD CELENTE

Each day I wake very early and with an increasing sense of doom . I have become concerned about the state of the world and the trouble brewing within the governments of our planet. The greed and the rampant consumerism is rife.  I am weary of being dictated to.  I want to take back the power into my own hands and be responsible more for myself and not live by government stipulations about seeds and food and eating.  It is the eating that has made everyone sick.  Why would I want to take their poison.  I don't.

Local trading must get back on the agenda and we need to have sovereignty over our food in our own shires, areas etc etc. That would mean we could purchase foods ie. Vegetables cheeses Milk and meats etc etc from local farmers at the gate.   We would do this with common sense and at our own risk.  You for example would not purchase milk from a filthy dairy.  Your own common sense will be necessary to look out for your own health etc.  You take back the responsibility to think again for yourself.

Word of mouth is powerful advertising. With the aid of social media this is a time like no other and a WINDOW like no other to take back the power from these power hungry soldiers in the HUMAN GROCERY STORE ( Guns and Roses lyric).. Computer usage is increasing our brain power, our grey matter is growing and isn't it curious that all computers were grey when they started.  To me it was like a silent symbol of where we were going with this.

We need to stop importing the gigantic amount of junk from overseas at cheap prices. It is junk.  Why spend your hard earned on junk?  Everyone does better if we trade locally in our own country!  We need to STOP.  Otherwise the manufacturing and retail industries are going to lose more jobs.  We have to stop looking at the bottom line and start looking back at what is good for us as the nation we live in.   For myself I should buy real Gold and hang onto the gold I already have.  Including my ex's wedding ring he gave me back. ( he now wants back again)   Gold may come in handy in this upcoming depression that will inevitably happen and its happening fast.  Growing your own food in some capacity, either in a co op or in your back yard or balcony.  Growing anything that will help you survive will be an advantage.

The photographic image above to me represents the empty street where no one buying anything in the retail outlets. Why?   Because we just cannot do it anymore!

Please watch the Gerald Celente interview with Australia's own ABC interview with him recently this week.

Understanding how this all has occurred one must understand how the agenda's  of governments and greedy capitalist nations.   Please watch the following video regarding chem trail's and globalization etc etc etc and the horrible results from thereof.  If you think this stuff isn't real.  You are in for a shock aren't you.

On a slightly and I mean only slightly I would love it if you also then watched 4o years of history .. a song to make you think and so much more has happened since  then.

LAW BREAKERS.. Late Wakers.. NO just Japanese Wankers.. COME ON JULIA - Relese the Hounds!

Early this morning the Japanese harpoon ship Yushin Maru III was holding fast in Australia’s World Heritage Area and territorial waters off Macquarie Island.  This is despite a call from Australia to have the ship exit our territory.

The ship is breaking Australian law which prohibits the entry of such vessels into our exclusive economic zone as well as territorial waters.
“At this stage a naval vessel should be dispatched to the Macquarie Island World Heritage Area to assert Australian law,” Senator Brown said.

Instead of regretting where you've BEEN..give thanks for where you're GOING. ( author unknown)

That quote above with the unknown author is however very very similar to another quote by someone who I do know and that is Joyce Meyer.   She says this " Enjoy where you are on the way to where you are going".
In other words just enjoy where you are at the moment, and this doesn't need to depend on the outside circumstances.

On the hill today was an awesome dawn and with that always comes new hope.  For today I will hope that I can make a difference.  For today I will concentrate on sending vibrational love to all three of my children,  the ones to whom I am hopelessly estranged from due to the mad circumstances of life.

Instead of regretting where you've BEEN..give thanks for where you're GOING. ( author unknown)

Tragedy strikes our sleepy town here in Urunga NSW

This morning at approximately 5.00am a utility driven by a 38 year old Nambucca Heads person  veered into the path of an oncoming B-Double truck.  The driver was killed on impact.  The B-Double then careered out of control into a house where the occupants were sleeping at the time.  The accident was witnessed by someone having their early morning cuppa in the vicinity.  They saw the accident take place. A young person inside the house died in his fathers arms at the scene.

This is a heartfelt plea from a Urunga resident living on the highway. This was recorded by the ABC news team.

Some of the media earlier were reporting the accident with a biased slant towards the truck involved.  You can watch these reports here.  We all know the trucks are notorious on our roads.   In this area they seem to have a particularly nasty attitude and act somewhat like a bunch of renegade cowboy's.  There are good and bad truck drivers and I am glad I know some personally, ones who don't drive with an attitude. The town is righteously up in arms about this lack of attention to the Pacific Highway in this area.  It will not be swept under the carpet this time.  The Local mayor Mr Mark Troy also spoke out about  the tragedy.

As well as myself many other friends have been literally terrorized here on the roads of the North Coast of NSW.  over the previous years of driving them with children in the vehicles attending sporting events up and down the Pacific Highway.  The state of the road itself is deplorable and was long known as the goat track.  It was just that, a goat track as the Pacific Highway upgrade was shoved further and further to the back burner in this area.

Now perhaps others will understand after an accident of this magnitude,  that something needs to be done to eliminate the heavy vehicles off our roads and get freight back onto the rail system.  Stop the carnage of innocent people.  This accident would not have been this horrendous if the truck was not on the road, regardless of all of the other circumstances concerning the deadly impact.

A report will be prepared for the very busy coroner.

Nobody is in a state of stillness; they cannot be. That seems to be a waste of time. Sitting silently, doing nothing is the foundation of meditation ... OSHO

Overlooking the river at dawn in Urunga
This is most certainly a great place to sit near where I live and just take in the absolute beauty there is just in front of your eyes.  I think that I am blessed to live where I do and that it is a gift the creator threw my way to offset a little bit of the pain that life deals out at times.  Sit awhile and take in this beauty, I can assure you it is good for the spirit.
